Our Nursery
Welcome and thank you for looking at our Nursery as the first step on your child’s learning journey.
St Alban’s is open 38 weeks each year and we provide care and education for young children between the ages of 3 and 4.
We are open 5 days each week for 2 sessions, 8:45am-11:45am and 12:05pm-3:05pm.
We are also offering more sessions for those who are entitled to 30 hours child-care provision. (You may be able to get 30 hours free childcare if: you live in England and your child is 3 to 4 years old). Please use this link to check your 30-hour entitlement https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Our aim is to provide a stimulating, caring and safe environment through play and exploration for your child here at St Alban’s. We allow for child led learning opportunities as well as adult led and directed activities during each session. We encourage every child to be an independent learner and we work within the Early Years Foundation Stage, covering the seven areas of learning through our planning and observations.
We cater for every child as an individual and celebrate their differences. We help children to develop their growth mindset and learn that through God's love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.
Admissions applications to the Nursery is a separate process from admission to the school
